2027-2028 FAFSA Opens October 1st!
To prepare for the launch of this year’s form 2027-2028 FAFSA, students and families should follow these tips:
Create a StudentAid.gov account (if you don’t already have one). Also, during lunch on the days listed below, students can stop by the Career Center to get help on creating your account:
9/8, 9/22, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 11/6, 11/20, 12/11, 12/18, 1/5, 1/15
Create Your MDCAPS Account to access the Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS).
Learn about the documents you may need to fill out the FAFSA form.
Determine your dependency status and whether your parent(s) or spouse will be required to contribute information on your FAFSA form.

Financial Aid Information Nights- We will be hosting TWO virtual Financial Aid Overview Sessions to help students and families learn how to make college more affordable! During each session, we will cover how financial aid works, timelines, types of aid, and much more.
