Your documentary should be about 10 minutes long.
Write your script before you decide what images and videos you will use. It's easier to select the visuals that match your words.
You may use professional images, video clips, and music but everything must be given proper credit at the end.
All images and videos must be cited in your Annotated Bibliography.
Be articulate and concise - choose your words carefully!
Clearly outline the thesis and main arguments.
Use images that are relevant and tell a story (and support your historical argument!).
Don't include too much (or too little) on your board.
Your paper must contain your thesis and your research, but who says you have to make your paper boring? As long as you stay organized and focused on exploring your thesis, you can add creative flair to your writing.
Take a chance and consider a performance! You have so much opportunity to creatively demonstrate your topic in a way that will engage your audience. Some performance options can include: a mock debate or mock trial, a pivotal scene from the event, narrating diary entries as the scenes are acted out or how those events affected present day.
