This avatar photo was created by Mr. K's son using AI. He is very into technology (and music - but more into technology). I like this photo because it makes me look A LOT younger.
Mr. Kosmaceski has been teaching in MCPS since January 2001 and is thrilled to be teaching elementary school instrumental music. Mr. Kosmaceski is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance, a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (a second undergraduate bachelorette), and a Master of Music Performance degrees. During the summer of 2011, Mr. Kosmaceski was selected as one of 10 music educators in the country to participate as a conducting fellow in the “Music Artistry in Music Education” summer program at The Juilliard School in NYC, part of their evening division. Mr. Kosmaceski has taught choral and instrumental music at all grade levels, and he looks forward to guiding students through the wonder, excitement and curious joy of creating their first sounds on an instrument and knowing what opportunities they will have continuing their music making journey through middle, high school and beyond.
