Since midway through the 2022-2023 school year, the Synergy MTSS platform has been available to create behavior and social-emotional intervention plans for students and monitor student progress over time on goals associated with these plans.
This school year, formal academic interventions, including Orton Gillingham and i-Ready, will also be documented through the Synergy MTSS platform.
One assistant principal from each school will be required to attend one full-day professional learning that will take place at CTI, located on the 3rd floor of 15 W. Gude, for which the training will include systems for student monitoring (Pathways Dashboard, Synergy Early Warning System, Synergy MTSS, Synergy Incidents).
Additional voluntary, comprehensive professional learning on entering and monitoring intervention plans for teacher-leaders and teachers is offered in face to face, webinar, and self-paced sessions.
Canvas is officially announcing the deprecation of the Google LTI (aka Google Docs Cloud Assignments) this summer. Now that Google Assignments LTI has comparable features, Google Docs Cloud Assignments will no longer be supported beginning in summer 2024 and users will need to transition to using the Google Assignments LTI within Canvas.
It’s recommended that you use the Google Assignments LTI option for any new assignments that are created so they can be reused in the future school years.
How to Use Google LTI Assignments
*The FAQ section from the link above shows how to transfer Google Cloud Assignments to Google Assignments LTI
At times, Google Workspace for Education users get an Unable to play video message and Error 150 or 151 instead of a YouTube video embedded in Google Slides.
Error 150: This error is due to copyright issues, restrictions the content creator has placed on the video, or because the YouTube Player for Education does not allow music videos.
Error 151: This error occurs because YouTube Player for Education enforces content-filtering restrictions set on the user's account. Depending on the restrictions, the user might be prohibited from watching certain videos.
