Programs 2022

Overview

The 2022 Blair Summer School is back again and will offer a range of course offerings, including original credit, credit recovery, enrichment and college and career readiness courses. All courses will be in-person or a hybrid of in-person and virtual. Student registration opens April 4th.

  • Session 1 : June 29 - July 18 (no school July 4)

    • Registration for Session 1 Ends June 3rd

  • Session 2: July 20 - August 9 (no school July 25)

    • Registration for Session 2 Ends June 24

*All courses are dependent on enrollment.

  • Credit courses will feature a blended instructional model combining in-person, synchronous virtual meetings, and asynchronous experiences. Students can take an original credit course for grade replacement, grade improvement, or original credit. Semester A courses are only offered during session 1 and semester B courses are only offered during session 2. Honors Health Education A will be offered in both session 1 and session 2. Students interested in registering for credit courses will require counselor approval.

  • Students should plan on attending 20 hours of required in-person classes per week. In addition to the in-person classes, students should plan to spend 10-20 hours per week on synchronous or asynchronous virtual instruction.

Credit Recovery courses will meet in person once a week for two hours and virtually twice a week for 1-4 hours.


Students for credit recovery courses will be pre-determined by their counselor and an invitation will be sent to families.

College readiness is the skills, knowledge, and behaviors required of high school students to be successful in their post-secondary education.

Enrichment programs provide an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming school year, try new things, and explore or develop interests.
