Student Leadership
Students interested in applying for Drum Major or Section Leader need to fill out a form.

Applications are due by Friday, May 1st.
Drum Major Auditions--Drum Majors will also be required to submit an audition video by Friday, May 1st. If a student is selected as Drum Major, they are expected to attend the Drum Major training camp at James Madison University in July.

Dates and Expectations
Students are expected to attend all Marching Band practices and performances. These dates can be found on the Calendar linked to the home page, and are also listed here.
-Summer Training-Tuesday 7/21-9AM to 5PM
-Band Camp Week 1-Monday 8/10 to Friday 8/14-9AM to 5 PM
-Band Camp Week 2-Monday 8/17 to 8/21-5PM to 8:30 PM
-Weekly Rehearsals-Tuesday and Thursdays-3:30 PM tp 5:30 PM
-Kensington Labor Day Parade-Monday 9/7-8AM to 2PM
-Home Football Games (4-5 games usually on Fridays)
-1 Saturday Practie-TBD
-3 Saturday Competitions-10/3, 10/24, and 11/7

Show music and sent out to student digitally once available. Please check your email during school/summer for music and updates!
