About Kindergarten Jumpstart

Incoming Kindergarten students for the 2021-2022 school year are invited to participate in our Kindergarten Jumpstart program.

This 20 day, fully online, self-paced summer program offers opportunities to engage in a series of online and hands-on learning experiences that will help prepare them for Kindergarten in the Fall; 10 days of reading and 10 days of math.

Registration Information

This program is designed for students to access and participate on their own during the summer. Students will have opportunities to engage in a series of online and hands-on learning experiences during the 20 day program to help prepare them for Kindergarten in the Fall.

Parents are invited to register for the program online (Online Registration Form)

When you register, you will receive a registration receipt with your responses. About a week prior to the start of the program you will receive a second email with directions on how to login and access the course.

In order to register you will need an email address as most of our communications are done via email.

If you do not have an email address , there are many free email providers available to you. You can create an account with Google, Yahoo, or many others. After filling out some basic profile information, creating an email address specific to you, and creating a secure password, you will be able to access your email from any web enabled device .

Program Materials & Requirements

In order to participate families will need to have access to a computer, printer, and the Internet (home, library, community center). The program is best accessed via a Chromebook, PC/Mac laptop/computer. iPads, android tablets, and Kindle Fire tablets may limit access to some of the education games linked in the program.

Families that are interested in participating but do not have access to a computer will be able to note this need during registration so we can arrange for them to borrow a device. In addition to the aforementioned resources, a suggested supply list is provided for reference.

The Kindergarten Jumpstart course provides students with opportunities to engage in learning through online activities as well as hands-on tasks. In addition to a computer, Internet access, the following is a list of suggested materials* that your child should have in order to fully participate in Kindergarten Jumpstart:
