Auditions are on Monday, November 13*,  2023, Tuesday, November 14, 2023, and Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 3:15-4:30pm.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I have to do at the audition?   You will sing the audition song by yourself, perform the audition dance with two other students, and read from the script by yourself.  You MUST perform the required song and dance.  Please see the Audition Workshop page to learn about them.

What day should I audition?  You will only audition on one day, so choose the day that works best for your schedule.  There is no activity bus on Monday, November 13 so you MUST have your own transportation if you choose that day.

How do I sign up for an audition?  There will be a large sign-up poster in the cafeteria after the final audition workshop.  You'll write your name on there any time between the workshop and the audition.  Then there will be a form for you to fill out with some questions prior to the audition.

What do I need to bring to the audition?  You should wear clothes/shoes that are comfortable for dancing.  You may not wear flip flops or other unsafe shoes that may cause you to trip during the dance.  You may bring your sheet music from the audition workshop.  We also recommend a water bottle.

Will there be callbacks?  IF we have callbacks, they will be on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 3:15-4:30pm.  You will be notified if you have a callback.

What is a callback?  If the director needs to hear or see more from you than they saw at the actual audition you may be called in to perform.

Is everyone guaranteed a part?  No one is guaranteed a part.   It's crucial that you are prepared and do your very best at the audition!

What if I want to do stage crew?  Stay tuned for stage crew applications after the auditions.  If you are ONLY interested in stage crew you do not need to attend audition workshops/auditions.
