My name is Ms. Swerdlow and this is my 4th year teaching. I have been at Flora M. Singer 2 years and am proud to be a Sea Turtle. I absolutely love teaching, singing/ dancing/ creating with, and learning from my incredible Kindergarteners! I earned my Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Maryland and currently teach the Kindergarten Learning Center with our (amazing) classroom paraeducator, Mrs. Dorsey.
I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, attended the University of Maryland, and currently live in Washington, D.C. When I’m not teaching, I love cooking, music, spending time with family & friends, and traveling.
