Use your student ID and password to log in to Destiny. You can:

• See what you have checked out.

• Place a hold on a book you would like to check out.

• Access ebooks and audiobooks through your computer.

To read books on your tablet or phone, search the App Store for Sora and download. Once you download the app:

• Click on the Find My School button, then find the tile that says Montgomery County Public Schools, Glenallan Elementary. If you don't see it at first, click "My school isn't listed" at the bottom of the screen.

• Type in Glenallan in the search box until it pops up under the box. Click on Glenallan.

• Then click on the button that says "Sign in using Montgomery County Public Schools".

• You will need to log in to your MCPS account with your student number with @MCPSMD.ORG at the end, and then your password. Click on OK.

• Use the search bar on the top left of the screen to find a book you want, or click on one of the books on the screen.

• Once you open the book you want, you have the option to borrow it or read a sample.

• If you borrow a book, it will stay accessible in your account for 2 weeks. After 14 days, it will disappear from your account.

• If you finish a book before the 14 day loan period, click on the bookshelf icon at the bottom of the book. This will take you to your bookshelf of borrowed items. Click on "Options", then click "Return". You have returned your book!

• You can have 3 items checked out at one time on the Sora app.
