The Purpose of the Academic Intervention Program at Gaithersburg High School is to provide our students with:

through ongoing measuring and monitoring of student performance.

College Prep Lit (AP Support) is designed for first-time Advanced Placement students.
General Resource is designed for students who are in need of additional academic monitoring to maximize success opportunities.
Connections is designed for students who are in need of increased supports to improve academic performance.
Human Behavior and Special Resource Classes are designed for students who have behavioral or socio-emotional concerns that limit academic performance.
The Trojan Academic Center (TAC), sponsored by the College, Career, and Graduation Support Department (CCGS), is designed to provide intensive academic support to all students attending Gaithersburg High School.
