Eastern Middle School Intramural Page

The middle school intramural program is an extension of the physical education instructional program, including the development of movement skills, health-related fitness, and personal and social responsibility, conducted before and/or after school among students in the same school.  All intramural activities are treated equally in terms of resources, facilities, selection of  staff, and allocation of supplies and equipment. Intramural programs should provide students with a variety of interesting, diverse, and challenging activities to accommodate differing levels of need, skill, readiness, and interests.

Each school's program should be individualized to reflect the needs and interests of all its students. The primary reason for participation is enjoyment of the activities rather than pressure to compete and win, as in athletic competition. Be sure to submit our Intramural Activity Survey and let us know what kinds of activities you would like to play.

Intramural Activity Survey

Intramurals are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 3:15pm - 4:15pm. Students must submit a permission form in order to participate. The form is good for a CHOSEN intramural activity scheduled for each semester. Students MUST submit 2 permission forms if they want to partake in different intramurals during the Fall, Winter, and Spring. If students want to participate in an intramural activity that is offered year long, then they need to circle FALL, WINTER, and SPRING options on the permission form. Not all intramural activities are offered year long. Some programs have a limited amount of spaces.
