Grade 8 students & families – If you are interested in applying to any of the MCPS Regional and Countywide Special Programs for High School next year, the process starts soon! CLICK THE IMAGE ABOVE to access the MCPS website where you can view deadlines, dates and resources/information on the various High School programs. Please be sure to check the “High School Programs At a Glance” under Grade 8 Resources within the link below to ensure that you know when each program is offering their information night (especially the Rockville HS Career related programs), as well as pay close attention to the eligibility column to learn if our Rockville cluster is eligible for particular programs. Mrs. Mehr and Ms. Bostick will send our reminders for application deadlines as they approach but you will be responsible for making note of the information nights and completing the application process if you decide to apply. Please make sure to note that the application window opens on October 6th through ParentVue (not StudentVue). If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the 8th grade counselors.
