SINCE 2011

Korean Language and Culture Program was launched back in 2011 as a Summer Enrichment program at three locations, sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

  • Clarksburg Elementary School in Clarksburg, MD

  • Spark Matsunga Elementary in Germantown, MD

  • Wayside Elementary School in Potomac, MD

The Clarksburg ES After-School Club program started in the school year of 2011-2012 followed by the 2011 summer program in order to reinforce the successful outcome.

It lead to the expansion of the program to the Middle school level and Rocky Hill Middle School at Clarksburg offered the program between 2013-2015.

After-School Club has been growing and now programs are held at four(4) different school locations - Clarksburg ES, S. Matsunaga ES, Gaithersburg ES , and Kingsview MS. (as of 2019-2020 school year)
