The CHS Library Advisory Board (LAB) is a student-run club dedicated to making the Media Center a welcoming, vibrant, and student-centered space!
Your Voice, Your Library
The LAB serves as the official student voice for the library. Members play a vital role in shaping the library experience by:
Reviewing Library Policies: Ensuring rules and procedures are student-friendly and accessible.
Guiding Purchases: Providing direct input on new books, technology, and resource selections.
What We Do
Creative Displays: Design and build displays for the media center windows, bookshelves, and bulletin boards.
Media Curation: Curate "Student Choice" lists and themed recommendations for books, ebooks, podcasts, and digital media.
Event Planning: Organize programs for the media center like Book-to-Movie events, Trivia contests, Blind Date with a Book, Poem in Your Pocket, and more!
