Hi! I am excited to be back at Churchill for a second year. I have a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Maryland-Baltimore and am a licensed clinician in Maryland, D.C., and Illinois. I have extensive experience working with high school students in a variety of settings. I use a relational approach with clients and have completed advanced trainings for trauma processing, including certification in trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy (TF-CBT) and trainings in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR).
I am originally from Chicago, I love to travel, and am a pizza and chai enthusiast! I look forward to working with you!

My name is Dominic Elliott, and I am the Youth Development Specialist at Winston Churchill High School as part of the Bridge to Wellness program. I am also a social work student at University of Maryland, Baltimore and I am in my final semester of my program! My prior work as a teacher led me into this field, and I enjoy working with teens and adolescents, supporting and encouraging them to be their best selves. I enjoy playing music (guitar), going for nature walks, supporting the Washington Commanders, and spending time with my wife and our 6-month-old daughter.
