Ms. Ware | Student Support Teacher

Greetings Burnt Mills Elementary Scholars & Families! I am so excited to have the opportunity to support scholars at Burnt Mills. Students perform better academically when they are healthy in body, mind, and spirit. My role is to help with integrating SEL throughout all classrooms with a systematic school-wide approach by practicing SEL through explicit instruction, building trusting relationships, and frequent opportunities to express their voice and perspective.

Ms. Gordon | Parent Community Coordinator

Parent Community Coordinators (PCC) help build and strengthen positive relationships with families and work collaboratively with school leaders, staff, and community organizations to develop and implement family engagement activities. They support families by guiding them through the school system, helping to build their ability to advocate for their student’s academic success, especially those who may be facing language, cultural or economic barriers.
