There are 5 performing ensemble at Benjamin Banneker--
- Advanced Band--The top performing band at Banneker. It is available to students with at least one year of band experience with Mr. Lind. Students must audition to enroll in the class. This ensemble represents the school at our County festivals, Music in the Park competitions, and other public appearances.
- Intermediate Band--Open to all students who have previous band experience. This ensemble focuses on developing the students ability to perform in an ensemble while preparing them to transition to the Advanced Band program.
- Beginner Band--Open to students who have no prior band experiences. This class focuses on teaching the students the basics of playing an instrument and playing in an ensemble.
- Concert Orchestra--The top performing orchestra at Banneker. It is available to students with at least one year of orchestra experience with Mr. Lind. Students must audition to enroll in the class. This ensemble represents the school at our County festivals, Music in the Park competitions, and other public appearances.
- Intermediate Orchestra--Open to all students who have had some string experience or students who have never played a string instrument before. This class focuses on the basics of string techniques and introduces the students to performing in a string ensemble.
