The B-CC Engineering Academy is Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School's official Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Engineering pathway — a nationally recognized, college-prep program that puts students in the role of engineers from day one.
Through hands-on, real-world projects, students develop the technical skills, critical thinking, and professional habits that employers and universities are looking for. Whether your goal is engineering, computer science, architecture, aerospace, or any STEM field, the Academy gives you the foundation to get there.

We Are A Project Lead the Way School
Project Lead the Way empowers students to step into the role of an engineer, adopt a problem-solving mindset, and make the leap from dreamers to doers. The program’s courses engage students in compelling, real-world challenges that help them become better collaborators and thinkers. Students take from the courses in-demand knowledge and skills they will use in high school and for the rest of their lives, on any career path they take.
