June 13-14, 2022 - GR Recruiting held stakeholder feedback sessions across all communities.
May 31, 2022 - MCPS releases Community Survey for stakeholder groups.
May 24, 2022 - School Board to meet with GR Recruiting to discuss timeline and advertisements.
May 9, 2022 - School Board approved GR Recruiting as the superintendent search firm.
May 9, 2022 - School Board met with superintendent search firm finalists.
April 12, 2022 - RFP issued for superintendent search firm.
August 9, 2022 - The School Board will hold second-round candidate interviews.
Community Feedback
The Board recognizes the value of stakeholder input in the selection process and is committed to utilizing authentic feedback in identifying priorities and desirable qualities.
Feedback from the community survey and the stakeholder feedback sessions were presented to the School Board on June 21, 2022.
