The English Springer Spaniel is a medium-sized bird dog with a compact body and often has a docked tail. Their coat is moderate in length, with feathering on their legs, ears, chest, and brisket (lower curve of the chest or ribcage). Springers are highly trainable people-pleasers. A polite-natured dog, they are good with kids and their fellow animals. They are eager to join in any family activity. Most love water and family interaction.

Holly will go anywhere the family goes... even if it is in a box. She loves to do what we are doing.
AKC Recognized Color combinations:
(1) Black or liver with white markings or predominantly white with black or liver markings;
(2) Blue or liver roan;
(3) Tricolor: black and white or liver and white with tan markings, usually found on eyebrows, cheeks, inside of ears and under the tail.
Note: Any white portion of the coat may be flecked with ticking. There are some off colors such as: lemon, red or orange are not to place in shows.
