Hours: Monday - Friday  7:35 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. unless there is a meeting.  If these times do not work for you, please schedule an appointment with Mrs. Light to visit the library.

Please use the Grab-n-Go Library Form and Destiny Discover to request library books to be pulled for later pick up.  Please allow 24 hours for requests to be fulfilled.

The library houses material for research, reference, and leisure reading.  Over 11,000 books are available as well as an ever growing collection of eBooks for checkout and reference research. 

The library is also open 24/7 at Destiny Discover.  Make sure you are searching Christiansburg High School, Christiansburg, VA.

Students may come to the library individually from a class or BDT, provided that they have filled out an EHall pass. Passes are limited so check back often for a free space.  Students are expected to come directly to the Library and sign in using the computer on the desk.  When it is time for them to leave, they must click the “out” button. Questions or problems with the system should be directed to Mrs. Light.

No FOOD allowed. ALL DRINKS must have a screw top lid. This includes drinks from Starbucks and 7 Brew. All cafeteria food should be consumed in the cafeteria. Eating lunch in the library is not allowed. Please respect our new space.

Headphones, earbuds, and phones must be OFF and AWAY at all times. This is state law.

Printing requests can be made by emailing Mrs. Light at slight@mcps.org. These requests are for school use only and may not immediately be printed. 

Please be respectful of all classes and activities taking place in the library.  This is an Instructional Space.
