This is Mrs. Miller's sixth year as a CES Coyote and librarian, and she LOVES helping students find their next great read! Before becoming a Coyote she was a Blue Demon from CHS where she taught English & Creative Writing for twelve years. 

Mrs. Miller is also a young adult novelist and poet! She has been writing books for teens for several years, and she and her agent have been working diligently to get her books published...so stay tuned! Her favorite stories to write are about characters who are underestimated and who conquer their fears, surprising everyone including themselves. Her YA debut novel, MEET ME UNDER THE LIGHTS, will be published by Penguin Viking Children's in the Spring of 2026! 

Mrs. Miller's husband is the band director at CHS, and her two boys are students in Christiansburg as well. Hanging out with her family will always be one of her favorite past-times. In addition to writing and reading, one of her favorite hobbies is running! Mrs. Miller has completed two half-marathons and hopes to run many more.
