Mrs. Cox:
I am originally from Wise County, VA where most of my family still live. I currently live in Riner with my husband, daughter (Carleigh) age 7, son (Jackston) age 4, and dog (Diesel - Blue Heeler) . After school in the fall/winter months, I am usually with my family working on our Christmas tree farm just down from our house. During the spring/summer months you will find me preparing our garden or mowing at the tree farm!I graduated from Auburn High School in 2004. I then went to Radford University to become a high school history teacher but then had a change of heart and switched to Elementary Education. I graduated from RU in 2008 and began teaching in 2010 at Christiansburg Elementary. In 2014, I decided to get my masters from Radford University in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in Gifted Education, I graduated in 2016. In 2015, I transferred to AES and became part of the Auburn Community again. This is my 14th year teaching. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade both at Christiansburg and Auburn Elementary. This will be my 7th year at Auburn. I love being apart of the small Auburn community that allows me to watch my students grow into amazing individuals!Mrs. Cox:
