My name is Jodi Wenthe I am the Pre-k-5th Counselor for EES. I’m excited to make this year a great one! A little about me, I grew up in Coldwater, KS, and moved to this area my 7th grade year. My husband, Devan, and daughter Ellis, are my two favorites! Some of my other favorite things include: Our dog Sophie, the color green, motorcycle rides, sunny days, swimming, spending time with family, Pepsi, Sour Patch Kids, frogs, and the Dallas Cowboys.

I attended Inman Jr/Sr High school, graduating class of 2010. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Wichita State University. A Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Wichita State University, and I am a licensed school counselor through KSDE.

My Role
My Role
I work alongside teachers and parents to help students develop socially and emotionally, and to help remove any barriers they have to learning!
I provide: •Classroom lessons teaching social skills, how to take care of strong feelings, goal setting, etc.
Small group counseling
Short-term individual counseling
Support and consultation with parents and teachers
Community resource referrals (including longer term therapy services)
Students can see me through self, parent, staff, or peer referral.
