Facts and Myths of Online Learning

Myth: Online is a good option for students with anxiety. Online can be very isolating, making it even harder for students to re-integrate into social environments.

Fact: Online programs cannot pursue truancy. However, online schools do follow "non-participation" policies through DPI to withdraw disengaged students.

Myth: All online schools are basically the same; it doesn't matter which one I choose. Programs vary greatly from only offering fully online options to requiring face-to-face attendance. Research programs to choose the program that meets your student's needs.
