Camp Green Meadows is located in the town of Fish Camp, California, in the Sierra National Forest just 2 miles outside of Yosemite National Park on Highway 41. The camp is situated directly next to a creek and has access to many trails branching out into the surrounding forest. Initially called the Jack L. Boyd Outdoor School, Camp Green Meadows Outdoor School has been running outdoor environmental education programming for the 6th graders of the Central Valley for over 50 years.

Today, we run week-long residential outdoor school programs during the school year and rent out our facilities to private groups for much of the summer. Through our outdoor school program, students gain hands-on experience of the outdoors while learning standards-based curriculum. In addition, Camp Green Meadows is proud to be an early adopter of the Next Generation Science Standards and has been steadily working to update our curriculum and develop new classes to expand our scope. We are dedicated to providing high quality science programs to the communities we serve and look forward to seeing you up here soon!
