ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:
Participants will explore ways in which collaborating with local partners can inspire students with learning that is immersive, applied, and connected to the world. Such partnerships extend beyond dual enrollment and provide access to enriching experiences that can shape students' world views and sense of identity and belonging.
New format! Through thoughtfully curated fieldwork opportunities, participants will intentionally engage with Washington DC and experience the city itself as an environment for collaboration, deep learning, and reflection.

Registration fees for the Summer Professional Development Institute include:
2.5 days of workshops and programming that addresses relevant topics faced in different areas of Middle/Early Colleges
3 Buffet Breakfasts
2 Buffet Lunches
Coffee & Tea Breaks
Cocktail Reception with Light Bites
*Conference fees are only refundable if cancelled before May 31, 2026.
MCNC's contract with the conference venue requires an advanced commitment to room and food & beverage minimums. Therefore, MCNC must receive payment or a Purchase Order from your organization by May 31, 2026, or your registration will be considered cancelled.

the city is sure to be a busy (and exciting) place!
Please plan ahead and make your travel arrangements early.
The Group Discounted Rate is available NOW through May 29, 2026, or until the rooms in the block sell out.
Please note the following:
All high school personnel must be registered by the school principal or his/her designee.
For maximum impact, it is recommended that a team of at least three people attend, including the high school principal, faculty member, and college partner. Expanded teams, or other combination of personnel are welcome
