McNairy Central Choirs are comprised of three separate groups:

      • Concert Choir - a mixed group composed of beginning and experienced singers from 9th to 12th grade. This choir teaches the students the basics of vocal technique, music theory, basic sight-reading and harmony.
      • Women's Choir - a more advanced group of mostly upper-class girls. This class seeks to continue and expand their knowledge in proper vocal technique and learn to sing more complex repertoire. They will also learn basic music theory and sight-reading.
      • JazzCats - the advanced, mixed choir made up of 10th - 12th graders. This choir is primarily a cappella and seeks to learn higher-level repertoire. This group is made up of the most experienced singers and are the promotional group for MCHS choirs.
