The company that provided online payments for McKinney ISD through HAC is no longer offering that service. This means that MISD is using a new company this year to make payments online. Any fees assigned to a student will show in the same place in HAC, but the link to pay has moved to the Home tab under School Links.
A future update will add single sign on (one click) access to make payments like in the past, but initially making credit or debit card payments for MISD fees, including laptop fees, will require registering for an account with PaySchools. It is recommended to register using the same email address you use for HAC to make it easier to combine these accounts in the future once the single sign on option is ready. Any payments processed through PaySchools should be updated in HAC by the following day.
You can access PaySchools at PaySchools Central
More information about PaySchools can be found at PaySchools Information
Detailed instructions on registering for an account are available at PaySchools Registration Instructions
PaySchools support is available from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday at psc_help@payschools.com or 877-393-6628.

Dress Code
SJMS administrators and teachers are committed to enforcing MISD’s Dress Code Policy. Please refer to the Student Handbook Dress Code for detailed information. Students who are out of compliance with the MISD dress code will be given the option to call parent for a change of clothes with time out of class not to exceed thirty minutes; or change into campus-provided alternative clothing. An excessive accumulation of dress code violations will be considered a failure to follow district and campus policy and will be handled using our discipline protocol.
Electronic Devices
If you choose to allow your child to bring a cell phone and/or an electronic device to school, please make sure to reinforce your expectations for your child’s use during the school day. Teaching digital citizenship is more important now than it has ever been. We encourage students to use these devices in an appropriate way during class when requested by the teacher. i.e. research during a lesson as directed by the teacher.
School Nutrition
McKinney ISD has announced its policy that this school year, healthy meals will be offered every school day to all students at no cost. Typically, a student’s household must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. However, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued guidance that allows schools to offer meals to all students at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year.
While no application or eligibility determination is required for your student to receive free meals this school year, income eligibility requirements will likely resume in the 2022–2023 school year. As such, McKinney ISD will process household applications during School Year 2021–2022 to ensure student eligibility for free or reduced-price meals during the first 30 days of the 2022–2023 school year while 2022–2023 applications are being processed. Each school/site or central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed upon request.
