The 6th Grade Choir is an entry level choir class where we review the basics of singing and reading music. This class is a wonderful opportunity for students to extend what they have learned in their elementary music classes. We learn through daily warm ups, sight reading, rhythm lessons, and exploring music genres.
The Concert Choir is a non-varsity treble ensemble composed of 7th and 8th grade students. This class is a great choice for first year choir students and returning choir members. Students will work on daily warm ups, sight reading, rhythm reading, and individual musicianship. Students in this class will also prepare for the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation in the Spring as well as additional concerts and performing opportunities throughout the year.
The Tenor-Bass Choir is an ensemble composed of 7th and 8th grade students. This class is a great choice for first year choir students and returning choir members.
