Registration Process
Please follow the steps below:
MHS DUAL CREDIT REGISTRATION - Step by Step Directions
(Steps #1-4 must be completed by Feb 29, 2024)

APPLY - NEW DUAL CREDIT Students: Apply at applytexas.org
Double check you are applying for the correct term and that you fully submit your application (Fall, 2024).
Please allow 2-3 business days for your application to be processed.
Your Workday login information will be emailed to your personal email once accepted. Be sure to check your spam folder.
Do not use your ISD email to apply, ISD emails block outside emails from Apply Texas and Collin
Once you complete the online application, you will receive an email from “Workday” (formerly called CougarWeb). This email will have your CW ID# as well as the login information (can take a couple of days to receive).
Google Dual Credit Registration Form: Once you have your CW ID# or you are a current Dual Credit and already have your CW ID#, fill out the google registration form (link below). This is where you will select your Dual Credit Courses. Pay attention to the days and times of the course and select those that will work with your schedule. Dual Credit Registration Form
Complete and Sign the two Permission forms:
1 .Dual Credit Permission Form (Collin College’s Permission Form)
2. MISD Parent Acknowledgement Form (MISD’s Parent Permission Form)
3. Give the signed permission form to your counselor or email it to your counselor. There are also copies of these forms in the counselors’ offices or with Ms. Morales in C100.
Set up OneLogin (New Students)
You’ll receive your OneLogin username and temporary password via helpdesk@collin.edu
Tip: Set up OneLogin on a device that you will have access to at all times.
Click on the Workday app in the OneLogin portal
Please review your customized list of registration requirements through Workday Tasks
TSIA - Determine with your counselor if you need to take the TSI or if you are exempt from the TSI
Take the TSIA2 or provide proof of waiver/exemption
Minimum score requirements for the TSIA, waivers, and exemptions are on the following pages below.

Returning students with a partial TSI status will not see a TSI hold, but will need to provide scores if they are signing up for a course in the subject that they do not have scores for on file.
7. Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine (Only for students taking courses on a Collin Campus)
Students taking courses on a Collin campus will need to provide a valid bacterial meningitis vaccine record or exemption at least 10 days prior to the start their course.

8. Registration (Completed by Collin College)
Dual Credit: Work with your High School Counselor to build your schedule
Your high school will provide this information to Collin College for registration
Angela Morales, our Collin College Advisor will register the courses for you, from the Google Dual Credit Registration Form.
College Credit / Concurrent Credit: Review course schedule in Workday to determine location days and times for the course. All courses require high school counselor approval. Registration is completed by Collin College
9. Payment - Due May 1, 2024
You may pay online through Workday or through the Cashier’s Office

10. Get Ready to Start Classes!
Attend orientation at your high school campus (at the beginning of school year)
Purchase textbooks if needed
ACCESS/Disability Services (Request accommodations)
i. Accommodations do not transfer over from your High School classes.
ii.To receive accommodations in your Dual Credit classes, you must apply through the ACCESS Office, more information is available at www.collin.edu/studentresources/disabilityservices/ index.html
