I serve students and families with the last names A-L.I have been at Dowell for 21 years and love it here! Dowell is like a family! It is a joy and privilege to work with all our Dowell students and families. Please know that one of my main focuses is to help create an environment that encourages our students to development as a whole; academically, socially and personally. I want to challenge all students to work hard towards achieving their goals while building strong relationships.

I have three kids that all graduated from MISD. When I am not working, I enjoy movies, reading, and learning to cook new things! Love being a Dowell Lion!

Rayshana Adams taught Elementary School for 3 years and Middle School for 2 years prior to becoming a School Counselor. This is her 14th year as a Counselor in McKinney ISD and she also served 2 years as a Counselor in Dallas, TX.

What she enjoys most about her job is being able to build great relationships with her students and helping guide them in developing a clearer focus or sense of direction.
