Get Involved - Volunteer!

When people volunteer, our students, teachers and staff benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved. We know your time is precious and we appreciate any help you can offer. Some volunteer opportunities are required on-campus but other times we need donations to ensure the success of various events. 

Step 1: Volunteer Application

All in-person and on-campus volunteer events (including school, PTO or booster club sponsored events) require an approved McKinney ISD Volunteer Application and background check. The application may take a couple of weeks to complete. An approved application is required once per school year. If you have students at multiple campuses, only 1 application is needed.

✨Supply or item donations for events do **not** require an approved MISD volunteer application.
