WELCOME! I am excited to begin the 2026-2027 school year! Throughout the year, we will explore the physical and human aspects of the Middle East and Africa geographic region of the world. Your child will develop a better understanding of the world and their role in the global and local community.

About Me

Hello! My name is Mrs. Tawana Armstrong, and I am thrilled to say I enjoy teaching middle school. I grew up in McIntosh County and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Armstrong State University in 2006 and a master’s degree in Integrating Technology from Walden University in 2008. I began my teaching career in the McIntosh County School District, where I graduated. This year, I will be teaching 7th grade Social Studies.

Currently, I live in McIntosh with my husband, Everett. I have two adult young men and two grandkids whom I just adore.

I enjoy sports, cooking, and spending time with my family.

I look forward to meeting all my students.
