MIDDLE COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL
"Insanity is continuing to do the same thing over and over and expecting different results."
- Albert Einstein
I chose this quote because it shows that if you don't change or learn new things, you won't improve.

Listening to Music
My name is Jessenia Juliet Humala and I am a creative and curious person who loves drawing and listening to music makes me feel free and happy. These activities have always been important to me because they help me express myself and explore new ideas when it comes to drawing.
One experience that has shaped who I am today is my journey in badminton. At first, I struggled and kept missing shots, which made me question whether the sport was for me. Instead of giving up, I decided to look for ways to improve and practiced consistently. Over time, I began to make progress, and this experience taught me the value of commitment, and patience. It showed me that with effort and dedication, I can grow not just in badminton, but in any challenge I face.
I would describe myself as friendly, committed, curious, creative, patient, and responsible. I enjoy helping others, getting along with people, and taking on challenges with confidence. These traits show in the way I approach my studies at MCHS and LagCC. I make sure to complete my work, listen carefully to my teachers, follow directions, and respect everyone around me. Being organized and motivated helps me stay on track, although I am still working on developing an after school routine that balances productivity with self-care.
When it comes to learning and challenges, I try to be patient and focused. I understand that making mistakes is part of the process, and I use them as opportunities to improve. This approach allows me to face difficult tasks with a positive attitude and keep pushing myself toward my goals.
I am taking this course because I have always been interested in learning more about this subject, and I think it will help me develop new skills that I can use in the future. I also want to challenge myself because I know this is a college class and I want to see how much I can improve while learning something I enjoy. I hope to gain more knowledge that will help me in the future and hope this challenges myself personally and academically.
After high school, I plan to go to college and study premed so I can become a doctor. I want to help people stay healthy and make a positive difference in their lives. I’m excited to learn as much as I can and work hard to reach my goal of having a career in medicine.
