Dear Mount Carmel Family,

I am very pleased to greet you, whether for the first time, or welcoming you back for yet another year. 

It has been my privilege to be the principal of Mount Carmel High School during these last 7 years. My career as a primary school teacher and principal have led me to MCHS and I thank God for that opportunity. 

Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School is known as the miracle school. It is a school of service to God, and because of that, of love and understanding and safety. MCHS is a school that places a high emphasis on academic success, but an even higher emphasis on moral values and living Christ-like lives. It is in this atmosphere that we strive to develop the student on a whole. In line with our school mission, MCHS leaves no student behind, caring for the underprivileged. 

MCHS is committed to working together with parents to ensure student success. At the same time, we urge parents to support us wholeheartedly, to be aware of day-to-day expectations and requirements and to ensure students are meeting those. It is only through a collaborative effort that we will achieve positive student outcomes. In turn, students should respect themselves, each other and their teachers; they should practice integrity and discipline, industriousness and dedication; and they should strive to live the teachings of Christ.
