I am excited to be starting my 22nd year here at Indian Mound Middle School. My role over the years has changed but continues to be focused on direct student support for academic engagement, organization/executive functioning, and school connectedness. Some of the ways I assist students to have academic success are:
ALS - Academic Lunch Support - An opportunity within the school day to get caught up on missing work in a small group setting during lunch.
SET - Student Extension Time - Offered during the school day, in a smaller setting to receive assistance with homework, test preparation, and organization.
Grade Promotion Monitoring - Making sure ALL 8th grade students meet district requirements for Promotion to High School.
Serve on ALL grade levels teams to ensure students are receiving necessary support and assistance
Serve on a variety of school based teams to ensure a positive school learning environment
I am very lucky to work with all 3 grade levels and assist students throughout their middle school years to develop positive academic strategies that ensure school success.
