If you are viewing this website, I am probably your son's or daughter's occupational therapist. My name is Tracy Hohn-Paulat. The student's call me, Mrs. Tracy or Tracy. I have worked for the McFarland schools for over 16 years servicing students' in 4K through fifth grade. In recent years, the Primary school has been where I spend most of my time seeing students, so I call this building my "home base". I work four and a half days a week in the school district. If you need to reach me by email my email is, HohnPaT@mcfsd.org. You can also leave a message on my school voice mail and I will call you back as soon as I am able.
If I am currently assisting your son or daughter on working on the goals identified in their IEP, I may have asked you to use my website as a resource to improving scissor skills, grasp patterns or independence with shoe tying. If you do not see something on my website that you would like to learn more about, please contact me and I will be happy to expand my webpage. The topics I have included on the website tend to be common concerns for students. Hopefully some of the visuals will help parents reinforce functional grasp patterns with pencils and crayons when they do projects at home, hold the scissors correctly, and use consistent language while helping the students learn and practice the steps of shoe tying.
Thanks for the opportunity to spend time with your child and help them expand their skills and independence!
