學校沿革

1、本校設立於民國前五年,為南投公學校濁水分校。

2、幼稚園部始創於民國39年。

3、「名間國小」之名始於民國57年九年國民義務教育之時。

4、特教班於67年成立,為當時名間鄉第一個特教班。

5、本校現有普通班 21班,特教班1班,資源班1班,幼稚園3班,
學生共466人,教職員共 58 名。

6、現任校長廖志家先生,家長會長賴妍卉女士。

School History

1、Established in 1906, named ChoShui Branch of Nantoupublic School.

2、Kindergarten Department was founded in 1950.

3 、Ming-Chien Elementary School got its own name in 1968.

4、Special education class was set up in 1978.
This is the only special education class in Ming-Chien Township.

5、There are 21 regular classes, 1 special education class,1 resources class,
3 kindergarten classes, 58 faculty members and 466 students.

6- Present Principal is LIAO, ZHI-GUJIA.
LAI, YAN-HUI currently serves as Chairman of Parents' Association.
