Get in the Holiday Spirit with the Run for the Claus 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, December 12th, in Downtown Marion, NC, brought to you by the McDowell Titan Runners XC & Track & Field Teams.
There will also be a Little Elves Fun Run @ 10:45 for our younger runners to get in on the fun.
We will have a costume contest, so come dressed in your favorite holiday gear!
Registration for the 5K is $40, and the Little Elves Fun Run is $10
Provided with registration for the 5K is a unique race t-shirt and finisher medal.

The Little Elves Run includes a finisher medal. You can add on a race shirt for $20 at checkout.

Strollers are welcome! We just ask that you start near the back of the pack.

*For safety purposes, and in compliance with our race insurance, we do not allow dogs or any other animals to run with participants at our event. Service animals will be allowed with prior approval (more than 5 days ahead of race day send request to missy.redmon@mcdowell.k12.nc.us) and supporting documentation. Running with your animal will result in disqualification from award categories and timing results.
Cancellation
In the event the race needs to be canceled there will be no refunds.
The cancellation announcement will be made as early as we can. If there is surprise weather we reserve the right to cancel the race up until race morning.
Race cancellation will be emailed out to runners using the email used during registration, posted on the race website, and posted on our social media platforms.
Race updates will be sent to the email address you registered with. Always make sure that your email is correct.
