Hi!  My name is Bethany Phelps and I am honored to be a part of the McDowell High School Titan community.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human and Community Services from Lenoir–Rhyne College.  Motivated by a deep passion for supporting and empowering others, I went on to complete my Master’s in Licensed Professional Counseling at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri.  After graduating, I obtained my License in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2009.

I look forward to partnering with the students, families, and staff of McDowell High School to support the success and well being of our school community. It is a privilege to support our students’ growth, well-being, and overall success, and I am eager to build strong, positive relationships within the Titan community as I begin this new chapter.
