I GREW UP IN MECCA, where I graduated from Maplewood in 2004, and currently reside. i serve on the Maplewood board of education, and also represent Maplewood on the TCTC Board of Education. I enjoy impacting education outside of the classroom as much as I do inside it!

I studied early childhood education at Youngstown state university, and graduated with my bachelors degree in December 2008. I then received my masters degree in educational administration from YSU in 2021.

i married Mr. morrison [dave] just six days after graduating college! this year we celebrate our 14th anniversary. we have a six-year-old daughter [clara jean] who is in first grade at Maplewood. We just brought home a sweet new puppy dog named Scout this summer!

previously, i taught 3rd & 4th grade title math at Maplewood for 2 years, as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades at agape christian academy in geauga county for 5 years. I was a stay-at-home Mom with Clara jean for 2 years before joining the roosevelt family.

i have a younger sister and a younger brother.
