Moon Missions

Luna 1 was the first spacecraft to reach the Moon.

Apollo 11 brought Astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin to the Moon. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin reached the surface to collect samples while Michael Collins remained in orbit.

Apollo 17 brought Astronauts Eugene Cernan, Ronald Evans, and Harrison Schmidt to the surface of the Moon along with a rover and some mice. They were the last humans to land on the Moon's surface.
