We are grateful for our diverse families and know values are different in each home. We are hoping by including the information below you can help your child make the best choice for your family's expectations.
Included below are titles, bookcovers, and links to Overdrive. Title links takes you to summaries about the book and an audio or text except. We hope this helps families and students make the best book choice for their summer reading. Remember even middle schoolers can enjoy family reading time, either 20 minutes of together silent reading or reading a book aloud together. This has lasting impact with more than just academic and literary benefits.

We hope everyone reads at least one book!
We hope everyone reads at least one book!
Current TN students who are returning can request to borrow a physical copy of the book to read during the summer. You will get your summer reading book and supplies near the end of the year. Students are also welcome to read the book via the Sora app or purchasing the book as an option too.
In August, during our first TIE (new 7th graders you will hear more about what TIE is later) we will then talk about the book, share what we liked, didn't like, and more. Rumor is sometimes there are snacks. 🙂
