Gifted & Talented

Gifted students are defined in the Ohio Revised Code Section 3324.01 as "those who perform or show potential for performing at remarkably high levels of accomplishment when compared with others of their age, experience, or environment."  

Those areas of gifted ability for identification are: 

• Superior Cognitive Ability

• Specific Academic Ability

• Creative Thinking Ability

• Visual and/or Performing Arts Ability

• Share information, materials and concerns with administrators, teachers, and families

• Provide support to clarify and improve delivery models

• Provide resources as an enrichment

• Provide ongoing professional learning to all staff

• Advocate for enrichment extension and differentiation to meet students’ needs
