PHEAA

PHEAA will be offering a webinar on Thursday, April 23, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM to gain a complete understanding of the financial aid process. Please join us and share this registration information with your students so they may join us via webinar. Representatives from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Agency (PHEAA) will be providing an overview of how to apply for all types of financial aid, including completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is required to determine eligibility for most student aid programs such as the Pennsylvania State Grant, Federal Pell Grant, institutional offers, and federal student and parent loans. This will also be a great opportunity to have PHEAA representatives answer questions you may have.

A note from Mrs. Darrup and Mrs. Nestico...

We know that this was not how you intended to spend your senior year at MCA and we're sure that you have endless questions about what the next few months will look like. Please know that we (your counselors, principals, and teachers) are working daily to ensure that you do not miss out on all of the academic and social aspects that senior year has to offer. Unfortunately, many things are out of our control right now. Over the next few weeks, please make sure that you are continuing to check this page, as well as our Guidance/Class of 2020 Facebook pages and your school email.

Currently, the R&K Sub Fundraiser is on hold. Please keep any orders/money that you already collected. Once we know for sure when school will be back up and running we will determine a new due date and delivery date.

At this point, Senior Projects and Job Shadowing requirements have not changed. Obviously we do not expect you to go and get these hours completed at this time, but it's something you should still continue to think about for once we are through this.
