You pay a rolling fee plus government fees based on the ORI number and application type on your form. Typical government fees are $32 for DOJ and $17 for FBI, plus any additional agency fees. If your agency provides a billing number, government fees may be billed directly to them.

California Notary Fees
California Notary Fees
California notary fees are regulated by state law. MBV Solutions charges up to $15 for each notarized signature for standard notarial acts such as acknowledgments and jurats, as permitted under California law. Starting January 1, 2027, notarial acts will change from $15 to $20 per notarized signature.
Because MBV Solutions provides convenient mobile notary services, additional travel or mobile service fees may apply based on your location, distance traveled, appointment time, and other service requirements. Any applicable mobile or travel fees will be disclosed and agreed upon before your appointment.
Additional charges may also apply for specialized services such as real estate or loan signing appointments, extended wait times, after-hours appointments, or other services not considered a statutory notarial act.

Wait Time Fee: A wait time fee of $15.00 will be charged after 20 minutes of the scheduled signing appointment. An additional $15 fee will be charged for each additional 15 minutes.
Cancellation Fee: There is a $25 cancellation fee for all live scan and notary appointments. Large groups cancellation fee is based off number of clients in the group.
