During MUN public speaking is a need, so by attending to these conferences we are building up public speaking skills for the future.

MUN's occur in many different schools, which is why going to an MUN is a great opportunity to meet new people and discover new places.

A benefit of the MUN research is awareness on the certain topic. The point of the research is not only to be aware of the topic, but applying it in real life.

Diplomacy skills are crucial to MUN. Not only will it's fundamentals be used during an MUN, but practiced through the conference which in the long term can positively change you diplomacy and negotiation skills.

MUN is a good opportunity to practice research, public speaking, and many more skills that all lead up to complete your role as another delegation. These actions can help you have better leadership skills in real life when you take action in MUN.
Model United Nations is a great opportunity for students to develop strong leadership skills, public speaking, research and writing skills, conflict resolution, and cooperation. Students will meet new people from other schools, which allows them to network, build connections, and make new friends.
An important, key skill you learn while participating in MUN conferences is diplomacy, the art of negotiation which is a very useful skill to acquire. Students learn how to problem-solve as they are given real-life world issues discussed by the United Nations. Students will also become more knowledgeable about these world issues as they explore and research the topic given to them.
Participating in MUN conferences can greatly benefit students for when they go to apply to college. Students develop many traits while being involved in MUN that colleges look for in applicants. Discipline, confidence, and analytical thinking describe some of the traits students strengthen during their MUN involvement, oftentimes giving students a stronger advantage in being accepted to the institution.
