Mercury Bay Area School Uniform / Dress Code

Mercury Bay Area School has chosen to have a school uniform to create a sense of Unity -Kotahitanga, Identity -Tuakiri and Respect -Whakaute amongst the three unique areas of our school. These are important components of our schoolwide KAURI expectations. We wish our students to wear their uniform with pride while at school, out in our community and while representing our school throughout New Zealand or the world.

Mercury Bay Area School uniform is to be worn by all students from new entrants through to Year 12. Our Year 13 students are not required to wear uniform, but are expected to wear clothing that would be appropriate for a public place of work.   Click here for our uniform list

Mercury Bay Area Stationery Lists

School stationery can be purchased from any supplier. Paper plus and The Warehouse in Whitianga stock stationery supplies on our lists. If your child is starting part way through the year, please check at your enrolment interview about stationery as you may be able to use stationery you have purchased earlier in the year at a previous school.
